last thursday i made some homemade butter and on friday i buttered up some bread. it was the first time since the end of february that i had some toast. it was so good. i think i’ll add some salt next time. yum!!

on saturday, the wright-patterson EFMP (exceptional family member program) had a picnic and paul and i went to volunteer. we were to “man” the bouncy slide. one of us had to be at the top and one of us had to be at the bottom. i was the lucky one that got to be at the top. it was so much fun playing with the kids!

we planted some grass seeds a few weeks ago and this is about a week later. it’s growing!! and even now the grass is even longer and fuller!!

this past tuesday the pleated poppy held a “what’s in your bag?” instagram contest. this is what i had in my bag. a sunnies case and a notebook cover along with some posy pins and petal pushers. i absolutely LOVE the pleated poppy and i hope i win the contest!!! in any case i just liked the fact that lindsey commented on my instapost. yay!

also on tuesday, paul and i celebrated our eight year anniversary. we just hung out all day long. you can read more about our day here.

also this past week lisa leonard held an instagram contest. this was my entry.

this has basically been my life motto this past summer.
