Last Friday I was lucky enough to have lunch with this handsome fella.  He’s my neighbor-L.  We had lasagna and cheeseburger soup.  It was mighty delicious.  And when I get the recipe I’ll make it and then blog about it so you can try it too!

Then when I came home this fly was buzzing around my house.  So I took my slipper off and smacked him to the ground then picked him up with this napkin and took a picture to show you.  And that yellow in the background is certified bug juice.  haha!!

On Saturday my mom and I went to visit the Longaberger Home Office and Homestead.  Here is the Home Office and yes it is shaped in the form of a basket.  It’s quite impressive so if you’re ever in the Columbus area, you should visit.

This is on the Homestead.  It was pretty neat.  It reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland.

On the way out of the Homestead we stopped by this shop called The Basket Shoppe.  They carry a whole buch of baskets from years and years ago.  They also carry other things like this John Deere basket in the wrought iron tractor.  I took this picture for my bro-D.

When I sat down, this was waiting for me.  It made me think of my sil-S since she just LOVES bananas so much!  (She really doesn’t!!)   Haha!

DH requested chocolate chip cookies so here they are.  He is so spoiled.  (but so am I).  =)

My friend, Sarah, bought me my newest jewelry pieces.  I’d wanted an infinity ring for a long time so when she sent me this one, I was super excited!  She is just so thoughtful to send me both of these pieces.  Thank you, Sarah!

Two months down, four months to go.  ‘Nuff said.

I almost missed this super tasty dessert this year since I’ve been such a hermit.  But with my mom in town, I thought I’d take her to give it a try.  Mmmm….

First time seeing Tops in Blue…..well, waiting to see Tops in Blue.  =)
